Western Sydney Parklands now has an operating Cafe/Restaurant at one of its most popular picnic grounds.
The Plough & Harrow Licensed Cafe/Restaurant is situated adjacent to the new car park at Plough & Harrow Picnic Grounds, on Elizabeth Drive, Cecil Hills. The new business will cater for a full eat-in restaurant menu and an array of take-away treats.
The new operators have many years of experience in the hospitality industry in Western Sydney and have spent almost $300,000 on the refit of the cafe building including a new commercial kitchen.
The Plough & Harrow Licensed Cafe/restaurant will be open from 11 am to 2.30 pm Monday to Friday and 8 am to 5 pm on weekends. The new operators are planning to offer the site as a function centre for weddings and parties in the future and are currently looking at the possibility of remaining open in the evenings when daylight saving starts later this year.
