Fernhill Estate is an idyllic rural parkland that will soon be open for all to enjoy. The beautiful estate is located on Darug Country at the edge of the Cumberland Plain, in the scenic Mulgoa Valley at the foot of the Blue Mountains. It was purchased by the NSW Government in 2018 and under the guidance of Greater Sydney Parklands, will progressively be opened and managed as a public park for the people of New South Wales.
Greater Sydney Parklands acknowledges that Fernhill Estate is on Darug Country, close to Gundungurra Country, and within the boundaries of the Deerubbin Local Aboriginal Land Council.
A place of natural beauty. A place of quiet contemplation and to feel part of nature. A place to be active and feel healthy. A place to share the legacy and stories of our past, and for our future.
