When Walid migrated to Australia, he realised that Egyptian food, and particularly the iconic Koshari dish was missing from the food scene in Sydney. That’s when, to the delight of all our tastebuds, Koshari Korner was born.
This iconic Egyptian vegan street food offers an unusual combination of lentils, pasta, and rice into a single dish topped with chickpeas, crispy onion rings and fragrant tomato salsa. Add some hibiscus tea and Egyptian sweets to that and you will be in food heaven.
