WHAT is Parklands Food Fest?
Parklands Food Fest is a free event held annually at Lizard Log Park, Abbotsbury, in Western Sydney Parklands.
This is the eighth annual Parklands Food Fest, and its Home Grown theme celebrates Western Sydney’s best local food and drinks businesses and Parklands urban farmers who grow fresh, seasonal produce just down the road at Horsley Park.
This year's highlights include the infectiously energetic celebrity chef who cooks weekly on Ten's The Living Room, Miguel Maestre, Award-winning Punk Princess of Pastry, Anna Polyviou, and Parklands Food Fest 'local heroes', Tona and Ketty Inthavong owners of Green Peppercorn (Fairfield and Blacktown) and Skye Blackburn owner of the Edible Bug Shop (Penrith).
Festival-goers can choose from over 40 food, drinks and produce stalls. There will be market stalls, Sweet Spot desserts, cooking demos, live music, free rides and activities in the Kids Zone. At 3pm, DJ Levins will light up the dance floor with a free kids disco.
Adults can enjoy a range of craft beers, wines, cocktails and ciders at the Homegrown Bar.

Parklands Food Fest will be held on Saturday 7 September 2019 from 10am to 4pm.
WHERE will Parklands Food Fest be held?
Parklands Food Fest 2019 will be held at Lizard Log Park in Western Sydney Parklands.
Entry is free and there is free parking on site. Entry to Lizard Log in Abbotsbury is at the Cnr of Cowpasture Rd and The Horsely Drive. Refer to map below.
WHO can attend Parklands Food Fest?
Parklands Food Fest 2019 is a free community event - everyone is welcome to attend!
Will the event still run if it rains?
Yes, the event is rain or shine. It may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions.
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely! Dogs are welcome to join the fun. However, we ask that you keep your dog on a leash at all times during the event. We also ask that you keep your pooch away from food stalls at all times.
Warrigal Run at Bungarribee is the only off-leash dog area in the Parklands.
Please Note: ‘Restricted breeds’ or ‘dogs declared as dangerous’ are not allowed within Western Sydney Parklands.
How much does it cost?
Parklands Food Fest is FREE!
Pre-register for your free ticket. Everyone who scans their ticket at our information stall, will receive a free Parklands tote bag (while stocks last) and go into the draw for your chance to win one of the following prizes:
- $100 gift voucher to The Paper Mill in Liverpool
- Signed Western Sydney Wanderers Jersey
- Family pass to Sydney Zoo (valid up to 12 months upon opening of the zoo)
- Family pass to Raging Waters Sydney (single day pass)
Please note: vendors may offer EFTPOS facilities and there is an ATM onsite.
Is there an ATM at Parklands Food Fest?
Yes. The location will be marked on the map in the program, or come and ask us at the Western Sydney Parklands information stand.
Just to be safe, however, we recommend you bring cash for purchases as well.
Is there parking?
Yes. There is free parking available at the Parklands. Please follow directions given by traffic controllers on the day.
Is there accessible parking?
Yes, accessible parking will be available.
People requiring accessible parking WILL need to make themselves known to a traffic controllers and present a valid mobility parking permit.

What should I bring?
We recommend you bring:
- re-fillable drink bottle - you can fill these up at any of the free, fresh drinking water stations
- hat and sunscreen
- umbrella, in case of rain
- cash or cards to purchase fresh food and other products
- bags to carry any items you wish to take home

The Home Grown Bar will be offering a variety of beers, wines, cocktails and cider. You must be over 18 years old to purchase and drink alcohol.
