Western Sydney Parklands

Is your screen time getting out of hand? Disconnect from your phone, clear your mind, connect with nature and discover the natural beauty on your doorstep at Western Sydney Parklands.

Explore the 20 hectares of picturesque and protected wetland surrounding Bungarribee and nature’s wonderland at Lizard Log. Breathe in the fresh air and stop to smell the flowers with a walk through the open bushlands full of native wildflowers and thousands of native trees.

Want to meet some of Australia’s native wildlife? The Binyang Matta Short Loop is the perfect spot to get back to nature and say hello to local wildlife. The walk journeys through grasslands and wetlands, featuring wildflowers, melaleuca and eucalyptus trees. You might even spot black-shouldered kites, swift parrots, and azure kingfishers along the way.

Make a pitstop at the Moonrise Lookout to discover views from Western Sydney to Sydney’s city skyline or bring your dog along to enjoy a brisk and easy 2km bushwalk and birdwatching experience on the Sugarloaf Loop.

Forge a lifelong connection with nature and get your hands dirty at our Trailside Planting Day, the perfect activity to restore the endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland that once thrived in Western Sydney.
