Western Sydney Parklands

Plough and Harrow

NOTICE OF WORKS:

The Operations team is undertaking an upgrade of the roadways and parking areas within Plough & Harrow to rejuvenate and encourage the safe use of the road and car park network within the park.  Works include

  • Narrowing the roadway
  • Realigning the roadside fence line
  • Applying an emulsion coating over the entire surface
  • Re-line marking the roadway and car park bays, crossings etc.

Work is expected to commence Monday 16 October and be completed by 10 November. The park will remain open to the public with traffic management in place during the first 2 stages but we’ll need to shut both sides of the park on alternating days for 2, possibly 3 days maximum to apply the emulsion coating and some of the line marking. The proposed date/s for full closure are Monday 6 November (eastern side) and Tuesday 7 November (western side) with some further disruption occurring 8, 9 and 10 November with sections of the car parks closed off for line marking.
